Monobloco concert to celebrate 20 years of Solar Meninos de Luz

This Friday, the 11th of November, the most awaited show of the year happened! A concert by the bands Monobloco and Orquestra Voadora at Fundição Progresso, in Lapa, to celebrate 20 years of Solar Meninos de Luz. It was a charity event; part of the revenue and half a ton of non-perishable food were donated to the institution. Solar Meninos de Luz has partnered with Monobloco since 2007, when the group began to collect non-perishable food at its traditional pre-Carnaval rehearsals. Since then, more than five tons of food have been donated to Solar.
