The Clouds Go Away
The surprises life brings us are something that is out of our control, and no matter how hard one tries, it is something that is impossible to change. Throughout our story, we have had countless joyful moments, but just like everyone else, we have also been through hardships. But like every good story, ours has a happy ending!
Around April 2019, our Solar suffered with heavy rainfall that came down on the city, and some of the structure of our rooftops were completely damaged. With this, we started an on-line fundraiser to be able to pay for the necessary reparations, and step by step we slowly fixed our house.
But the losses were great, and only in the beginning of this year, like a ray of sun that emerges after a storm, we received a special donation from businessman Anderson Schreiber, who arrived at the right moment and made the repair work possible. And just when we thought everything was going to be fixed and ready for us to return to our Chalé normally, an unexpected setback made the repair work come to a halt…
But not even this event succeeded in bringing us down, and the repair works continued with joy so that we could leave everything in order, and then, what nobody could imagine or foresee happens: a pandemic! The school closes, classes are suspended and the repair work halts once more… but our work has continued, just like the hands that appeared to help us, even at a distance, when we most needed.Thus, Total Brasil came to us last month, with an open heart, and made a donation that will allow the for the completion of the repairs, and put a final period in this story, full of ups and downs. Happily, we can now say that our Chalé will be ready to receive our children of light as soon as we are able to open again, and that what made this possible was the support and love we received for our work!
