Tennis arrives to Solar
Futuro Bom institute, in partnership with Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel, invited Solar Meninos de Luz to participate in the Copacabana Little Princess Project, in which 14 students from the 6th and 7th grades will have tennis lessons.
The project started in March and classes take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the Copacabana Palace Hotel block. All students received uniforms, rackets and food.
The students participating in the project may participate in state and national competitions. Participation in competitions will depend on the development of each one in the project, wich objective is to give the opportunity to the students who are responding to above-average performance training on and off the court.
At the age of 18, each one will receive a participation certificate and a reference letter, to facilitate their entrance into the labor market, or referral to clubs, hotels and gyms for those who wish and possess the qualities necessary to work with tennis.
