Sustainability Lecture
On July 14, Solar received Cris and Ana Beatriz, founders of Pedra da Gávea School, for a sustainability lecture for High School students.
The idea was to think together how to meet the current needs of human beings without compromising the environment and the future of next generations.
They spoke about various types of sustainability, such as corporate, social, environmental and ecological, always seeking reflection from our students about the mistakes made today.
After the lecture, they divided students into groups to think about what each one could do for the environment. How they could be more sustainable. The activity has generated great ideas, such as the use of technology to reduce paper spending or the use of recyclable materials for decoration, such as vegetable gardens with pallets, for example.
