Students learn to make sachets at Entrepreneurism Workshop

Primary and high school students at Solar Meninos de Luz participated, during all of the 2011 school year, in the Entrepreneurism Workshop held by the company Sachês Cubiaco, which taught them to make sachets sustainably by reusing pieces of fabric.
In November 2011 the sachets began to be sold by the Santa Malagueta chain – shops selling bags and other accessories made of cotton fabrics, at kiosks located in the Rio de Janeiro subway stations Cantagalo, Uruguaiana and Cidade Nova.
All the profit from the products’ sales goes back to the students who make them, reiterating the important initiative and encouraging students to participate in entrepreneurial activities.
