Students celebrate Brazil Independence

In honor of Sept. 7, students from Pre-School II and Elementary School I met to sing the National Anthem and Independence Anthem.
Teachers Jaqueline and Letícia talked a little about the history of Brazil’s independence for the students, from the colonization made by Portugal to the conquest of the country’s political autonomy in 1822.
The five students from Elementary School I who stood out most in class were selected to extend the Brazilian flag during the ceremony.
