Student entrepreneurs create companies and present their final tasks for the Totvs/IOS course
Young people from the 2nd and 3rd high school years at Solar Meninos de Luz presented the final task for the Totvs Business course on Wednesday, the 23rd of November. The Microsiga Protheus system was taught to them throughout the year and, at the end of the course, company representatives, employees and other Solar students watched the tasks being presented.
According to teacher Thiago Chapelem, the task was to prepare a business creation project, explaining the sector division, the flow chart and the product. It was also to present the brand, mission, vision and values, create a web page and a social network profile, and show how the Microsiga Protheus System helps organize the purchasing, inventory, costing, billing and financial modules.
The students were divided into five groups to plan the task. On the presentation day, they wore business attire and each group member represented the management of a sector in the created company, chosen by themselves.
The 1st group, made up of Ruanne Viana, Thayene Alves, Pablo Rodrigues, Dielly Paiva and Michele Freitas, created the company Sweet Perfumes. The 2nd group to present themselves, made up of Manuella Bacelar, Tainara Rodrigues, Renato Duarte, Paulo Oliveira, Loren Gomes and Luan Goulart, created the sunglasses company Rainbow. As for students Matheus Barbosa, Lucas Gomes, Jussara Martins, Yasmin Pereira and Alan Medeiros, they made up the 3rd group, which presented the Editora Informar Ltda publishing house. At the end of the presentation, this group opened the floor to questions and gave the audience gifts.
The sandals company Tropikaine was created by the 4th group to present themselves, made up of Diogo Araújo, Jefferson Ribeiro, Michael Mesquita, Roberta Sales, Thaís Caldas and Vitor Coutinho. The 5th and last group, made up of Ana Beatriz de Oliveira, Camila Ferreira, Arthur Marques, Andreza Barbosa, Ronaldo Marinho and Lucas de Melo, presented the Wearing Style shoe company.
Joaquim Sanches, resource manager, and Guilherme Oliveira, PMO manager (Projects Office) at Totvs praised the presentations. Oliveira said it is not easy to face a full audience. It’s normal to stammer. “One way to get around that is to rehearse a lot, look at the audience and see their reaction,” the manager recommended. “The flowcharts were very clear and the tips were very interesting. Congratulations!” he added.
