Solidarity Cinema for Lar de Sarepta asylum
On November 18, Solar Meninos de Luz held two sessions of solidarity cinema. The project aims to teach early our children on the importance of helping others; of generosity.
As entrance to the cinema, students donated personal products such as toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, geriatric diaper, cotton, swab, among others. The collected items will be donated to Lar de Sarepta asylum, an institution that shelters and cares for 32 needy elderly.
Early Childhood Education children watched the film ‘O Bom Dinossauro’ (The Good Dinosaur), animation about the friendship of Arlo, a teenage dinosaur, with a young human boy, Spot.
Elementary School I studens watched the film ‘Doze é Demais’ (Twelve’s Too Much), a comedy that tells the story of a father and a mother trying to take care of their careers and their home, among twelve agitated children.
Solar is very proud of its students for participating with love of solidarity projects and is happy to be able to keep active this current for good.
