On January 5, Solar received two volunteers from EduMais, Diana Nijboer and Sebastiaan Scholten, to help set up and test the new 3D printer.
The equipment was donated by Schlumberger in 2016 to integrate the instruments of Marie & Pierre Curie Science Laboratory of Solar Integral School.
3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology in which a three-dimensional model is created by successive material layers.
Now, with the equipment assembled and tested, Elementary School II students will have the opportunity to put some of their school projects into practice.
