Solar Meninos de Luz

On June 28th, children of Solar gathered at the door of the school to make a Recital for peace in the community. Students from Pre-School I to 5th grade participated.

They read texts made in classroom for them with their teachers, held posters that they produced with messages of peace, love and care for the environment, distributed cards to the residents and sang.

One of the songs was the parody ‘Tira o Lixo da Calçada’ (Take the Garbage of the Sidewalk), which talks about recycling and the environment. The other song was ‘A Paz’ by Roupa Nova band, which talks about peace, love and forgiveness.
