Reading at Solar Program with Marco Andrade and Sandra Pina
Reading at Solar Program continues to bring authors, stories and dynamism to Paulo Coelho Community Library.
On November 19th, the writer, illustrator and storyteller Marco Andrade visited Solar to tell the story of his book ‘O príncipe Livrepássaro e o reino dos botões’ (he Free Bird Prince and the Buttons Kingdom) for Solar’s children and the whole community.
On November 23, the writer, journalist and specialist in Children and Youth Literature Sandra Pina came to talk with Elementary School II students. The chat included topics such as starting a writer’s career, writing inspiration, storytelling and reading.
Sandra donated 7 of her 30 books to Paulo Coelho Library.
This project was awarded by “Todos por um Brasil de Leitores” Prize by Culture Ministry.
