Reading at Solar Program with Cristina Villaça and Andrea Taubman
Reading at Solar Program continues to bring authors, stories and dynamism to Paulo Coelho Community Library.
On November 3, the writer, storyteller and children’s literature teacher Cristina Villaça gathered children of Pre-School I and II to tell the story of her book ‘O rapaz que casou com uma sapa’ (The boy who married a frog). The meeting was so lively that she also talked about the stories of her two new books, which have not even been released: ‘O irmão do meu irmão’ (My brother’s brother) and ‘Três mocinhas elegantes’ (Three elegant girls).
On November 5, it was the turn of Andrea Taubman’s visit. She received children from all over the community to tell the story of her books ‘Sonho de mãe’ (Mother of dreams) and ‘A escola que eu quero pra mim’ (The School I Want for Me). The meeting was super interactive, full of questions and conversation.
The program will continue on November 19, when the writer, illustrator and storyteller Marco Andrade will come to Paulo Coelho Library to tell the story of his book ‘O príncipe livrepassaro e o reino dos botões’ (Livrepassaro Prince and the Buttons Kingdom).
This project was awarded by “Todos por um Brasil de Leitores” Prize by Culture Ministry.
