Reading at Solar Program with Alessandra Maltarollo
With the aim of dynamizing Paulo Coelho Community Library, since September, Reading at Solar Program has been bringing writers and storytellers to interact with Solar students and residents of the community.
In the week of November 21 to November 25, the author Alessandra Maltarollo made different encounters with classes of Elementary School I for a storytelling of her recently released book ‘Aventuras de uma criança DOWNadinha’ (The Adventures of a Child with Down syndrome). Next week, she will meet children of Pre-School.
The book, which addresses inclusion, tells Clarisse’s story, a child with Down Syndrome full of joy, determination, wills, achievement and learning.
On December 5, at 4:00 p.m., Alessandra will release her book at Paulo Coelho Community Library. With autographs time and books sale, part of the collected amount will be reverted to Solar.
Still undated, but already planned for January of 2017, Alessandra Maltarollo will do a reading round with Adult Literacy students.
This project was awarded by “Todos por um Brasil de Leitores” Prize by Culture Ministry.
