“Play Day” in Solar
Last Tuesday, August 27th, Solar Meninos de Luz actualized a “play day” with classes from kindergarten. The objective of the activity is to educate everyone about the importance of playing in children's lives. The best way to achieve this objective is to invite parents and guardians to spend an hour of their morning playing and interacting with their children.
Right after parents arrived at Solar, they were taken to their children’s rooms, where they played statues, musical chairs, dead and alive (a traditional Brazilian game). They also painted drawings together. The kids loved it and the parents could take a train back to their childhood!
Solar wants an even closer bond between family, children and playing activities, so the last Tuesday of every month will be "Play Day" at Solar.
