Mathematics and Solidary Gymkhana with Elementary School II and High School
On November 16, Elementary School II and High School students had a very hectic morning. The day began with a Mathematics Gymkhana, held through a human board game.
Students played a dice and walked that specific amount of houses. Some houses included math questions, while others made participants return on the board. Each class had a representative in the game.
The winning class was 1st year of High School and, as an award, in addition to bonbons distribution for students, there was also a lottery of a bike donated by Estácio. Ariana Sodré was the winning student!
Then, students participated in Solidarity Gymkhana. All of them brought gelatin and geriatric diapers for donation. The activities included tug of war, running, dispute to burst friends balloon, running with tied feet, among others.
In addition to the day activities, students also composed a song with solidarity theme. The winning song, parody of ‘Asa Branca’, by Luiz Gonzaga, was made by 6th grade students. Watch here: https://youtu.be/BJ4pmKmRCBM .
Solidarity Gymkhana winning group was 6th year and the students won a trip to Catacumba Park, with a picnic and various activities.
All gelatine collected will be donated to INCA and geriatric diaper packages collected will be donated to an asylum not chosen yet.
