General Team Reunion with Professor José Pacheco
On May 19th, starting at 2:00 pm, GTR – General Team Reunion – happened with all the education professionals at Solar Integral School, ranging from Early Childhood Education to High School.
Solar Meninos de Luz received Professor José Pacheco, a specialist in Reading and Writing and a master in Education Sciences. He is the founder of Ponte School, an institution that is renowned for its educational project based on students’ autonomy.
Pacheco participated in the GTR making a reflection about school beeing made by people and about teaching being directed according to student interest and what they want to learn.
He also spoke about the importance of students being able to adapt to any school or university after developing autonomy and learning to direct their studies and researchs.
After a brief lecture, Pachecho opened space for our teachers to take their questions about the school he designed, educational projects, education challenges and innovative changes.
