Solar Meninos de Luz

Musical group Dá no coro e cena, that arrived recently from a successful season in France where they made a presentation in international music festivals Choralp and Choralies , made a small presentation in Meninos de Luz Theatre, on September 27th, bringing great energy to the audience, composed by students, teachers and visitors. The chorus repertoire brought colors and sounds of Maracatu, Jongo and Capoeira. The songs and dances of São Luiz do Maranhão, and Brazilian regions, gained another dimension sang by the 17 tuneful voices choir.
Two group members, which was formed 7 years ago, are old friends of Solar: the musician and actor Jonas Hammar, volunteer in the workshop Sensibility in Arts, who also signs the scenic direction of the group, and the beloved "Wolf", which was Capoeira teacher in Solar for many years. The show arrangements and musical direction were made by Sergio Samson.
The ending was apotheotic with students up on stage dancing and playing capoeira with the artists, it was a true spectacle!
