Chiquinha Gonzaga collection launch concert
On the Day of Chiquinha Gonzaga’s birthday, the concert for the launch of the Chiquinha Gonzaga Digital Collection will take place, with teachers from the Portable Music School, at the Meninos de Luz Theater.
Recitals open to the public have been scheduled for the months of October and November in Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and São Paulo. Apart from the recitals, there will also be workshops in Rio, in a month dedicated to Chiquinha Gonzaga.
The site’s official launch will be on the 18th of October at Instituto Moreira Salles, for the press and guests, including a piano recital by Wandrei and Alexandre, playing classics and new releases by Chiquinha.
