Children and adolescents produce Nós exhibition
Between August 4 and September 9, Solar Art Gallery promotes the exhibition Nós, produced by students of Solar Meninos de Luz, curated by Aloysio Pavan, Ana Paula Albé, André Sheik and Patrícia Wagner and coordinated by Osvaldo Caravalho .
From workshops given by four artists participating in the exhibition ‘Diante do Desconhecido: o Outro’, a previous exhibition of Solar Art Gallery, 16 students worked hard to design the other with care and sensitivity. We resemble the same people in drawings and photographs through the experience of looking, seeing, and being seen.
The analysis of seeing and being seen, an experience that frightens and enchants, has given rise to a new look for artists. Faced with facilities and difficulties, releases and locks, students worked their peers with the view of spectators, from different symmetries, proportions and perspectives.
Students’ exposition is a practice developed with the aim of bringing children closer to the current country artistic production. Each of them has autonomy and a central role in the creation and reproduction of their ideas.
