Adult Literacy: a class in the Art Gallery
On February 26, Adult Literacy students participated in a class at Solar Art Gallery, marking the closing of the exhibition Arte Entre 4 Linhas (Art Between 4 Lines).
Professor David Aquino took advantage of the exhibition to work on the theme ‘dreams and plans’. In this dynamic, the students contemplated the works and reflected on what they saw, talking about what it represents for children, adolescents and young people, as well as their families, to be among 4 lines and to do Art Among 4 Lines. The conversation was based on the geometric figures presented in the works.
Later, in classroom, students will work orally, reading, interpretation, writing and mathematics. There will be a circle of culture, reading and text interpretation. They will also read th exhibition poster, write a collective text, write the names in the visitation book, working with meaningful words and working with geometric figures.
The project is called BB Educar – Literacy for Youth and Adults and is the result of a partnership between Solar Meninos de Luz and Banco do Brasil Foundation.
