Activity with physical and chemical experiments
On November 24, Viva Rio, Castor Clube and Favela Hub came to Solar to conduct an experiment activity among 9th grade students, enabling direct interaction with laws of physics, mathematics and chemical reactions.
One of the activities consisted of a chemical experiment to explain how the dilation and retraction of molecules works, allowing students to make their own gelecas amoebas (a toy in the form of a gelatinous mass).
Another activity was the interaction with a game using Arduino and Makey-makey to learn to write and read in Braille through the programming world. The students solved general knowledge challenges and turned their answers into codes. The language used was Braille and it was written by means of a rug that recognizes specific patterns corresponding to this language.
It was also featured the physics behind aircraft focused on drones as well as their various applications in various areas. Encouraging a greater demand for knowledge about robotics, our partners showed the design of a drone and made a small flight demonstration.
