‘Acessos’ inaugurates Solar Art Gallery in 2017
Solar Art Gallery promotes, from March 9, in Copacabana, ‘Acessos’ exhibition. Six artists, curated by Lia do Rio and coordinated by Osvaldo Carvalho, present the ladder as a link between two spaces of the same city and proposes a reflection of the daily movement of going and coming, between asphalt and favela, having a staircase as a connection.
Individual works become a ladder in a way that creates the simultaneous sensation of going up and down. And the proposal innovates when, during its period of exhibition, the show gains students of Solar Integral School as new participating artists. With diverse materials, students will work their art with autonomy and central role in the creation and reproduction of their ideas, referring their understanding of what a ladder is and how they participate in ways and routines.
