Solar Art Gallery promotes Luz Balão

Imprensa

Beginning the exhibitions of 2018, from March 8 on, Solar Art Gallery promotes Luz Balão exhibition. Curated by Marisa Flórido and coordinated by Osvaldo Carvalho, 16 artists intertwine in the form of a network, coming through the participants invitation, always related. The curator invites 4 artists, who invite one more each, their guests invite one more each, who finally invite one more each, totaling the 16 participants.

Luz Balão refers to the poem Tecendo a manhã (Weaving the Morning), by João Cabral de Melo Neto, and reveals that an individual alone is not able to build alone; we need interpersonal relationships in both life and art. This common text-work-exhibition is a fabric of delicacy and care.

Each artist, upon being invited, receives a word and must work their art according to the theme proposed. Topics such as horizon, bridge, truth, nightfall, shadow and wind, among others, will be worked on. 16 pieces will be exhibited, from 16 artists, thus closing the proposed ludic network.
