Students generate energy account discount
Light Recicla program, a sustainable project of Light that aims to exchange waste by discounting energy bills, held a gymkhana with students of Elementary School II.
The first stage consisted of a lecture to introduce the project and make students aware of the importance of recycling.
In the second stage, students collected waste for a competition. Each class was given the task of collecting 100kg. It was also necessary to create a parody with the theme 3Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle) and an art work with recyclable waste.
In the third stage, they did the weighing. In total, 453.20 kg of waste was collected, which added a discount of R$105,10 in Solar Meninos de Luz energy bill.
The 6th year was the winning class. They grossed 198.10 kg and as a prize they will visit the Light Museum.
