Continuing the tribute that Solar will do to their dear and indispensable volunteers, in May, our honored friend is Monica Cidade. She acts as a dentist at the Solar Wellness Center.

Monica agreed to answer some questions:

Full name?

My name is Monica da Cunha Cidade.

How did you get to know Solar?

I met Solar through a friend who came to my office for an appointment and invited me to meet Solar: Ercole.

How long have you volunteered at Solar?

I have been a volunteer for 3 years.

In what areas do you work?

I work as a dentist in Solar Wellness Center.

How do you feel about working at Solar?

I love working here. The office is super well located and nice and I have an amazing assistant: Solange.

What do you think about Solar’s work?

Despite some difficulties, I think the work is being positive.

Do you think Solar influences people’s lives? In what way?

Of course Solar influences! It is notorious not only for students education and training, but also through discussions with parents and people in the communities, artistic exhibitions, opening work fronts, etc.

What is Solar characteristic that you most appreciate?

Exactly this! The creation of many opportunities and paths for those who, in fact, can look with interest. And the fact of having the Spiritist Doctrine, as a solid base, for edification.

Is there a nice story between you and the students?

Nothing special!! I always take care of them and I understand that it is often difficult for them to rest easy in the dentist’s chair, but I feel very grateful and happy when I see the row and the dispute to sit in the chair!! It’s a delight to be able to take care of them!!
