Lecture on Financial Security and Economics
On September 15, Célio Macedo da Silva, a specialist in Financial Education, came to Solar to talk about financial security and economics with our high school students.
Célio, who often lectures on Financial Education and Financial Freedom for people experiencing financial difficulties, talked a little bit of his life story. After going through some difficulties with his mother during his childhood and adolescence, he structured a plan to have stability and not go through it again.
In foreground were the studies, making possible for him to realize the dream of graduate in Economy. Since he started to work, Celio has used a part of his salary to specialize and enable his professional growth. In the background, there were the savings. He stipulated a value that he should save every month so that, at the end of 9 years, he could buy his property without relying on rent.
Célio spoke on the importance of goals, planning and will power. After following his career by putting his plan into practice, he was able to buy his apartment, his car and still keep an amount for possible problems that might happen.
