Rio de Histórias closes the yearâ’s activities with games and songs at Solar
On the 9th, the team from the Rio de Histórias Institute, affiliated to the Viva e Deixe Viver Association, gathered in the covered court at Solar Meninos de Luz to close the institute’s activities at the Pavão/ Pavãozinho – Cantagalo Social Welfare Reference Center, together with about 30 older women from the community.
The activity included the children from Solar’s Nursery II and the project participants, who brought their grandchildren. The event was led by storyteller Hamilton Catette, who energized the afternoon with many games, songs and stories.
In October, we welcomed a wonderful team of storytellers made up of president Regina Porto, Marcia Borges and Giovana Olivieri, who perform storytelling activities with children in hospitals.
Rio de Histórias is a non-profit institution which aims to transmit joy, education and culture through storytelling performed by volunteers linked to the institution.
