Tribute to Solar volunteers
Continuing the homage that Solar will do to their dear and indispensable volunteers, in August, our honored friend is Maria Alice. She acts as a psychologist at the Solar Wellness Center.
Maria Alice agreed to answer some questions:

Maria Alice Funke Mattos.
How did you get to know Solar?
I met Solar through a neighbor who frequented Lar Paulo de Tarso.
How long have you volunteered at Solar?
For about 16 years.
In what areas do you work?
I work at the Solar Wellness Center, at Psychology area.
How do you feel about working at Solar?
I feel fulfilled and gratified, because besides helping myself, I can help other people.
What do you think about Solar’s work?
I find it a wonderful job, because its main focus is the human being.
Do you think Solar influences people’s lives? In what way?
Yes! By the way it deals with traditional, moral and spiritual education.
What is Solar characteristic that you most appreciate?
The honesty and seriousness with which they fulfills the commitments made.
Is there a nice story between you and the children?
There was a time when a student of about 12 years came to me saing that she wanted psychological care, if I could give to her. I said yes, of course, but I asked her why she wanted that care. And she answered me with a smile: because I want to be your friend!
I have other very beautiful stories that unfortunately I can not share by secrecy due to professional ethics.
