Sustainable Solar Invitation
Do you know SOLAR MENINOS DE LUZ?
It’s right here, up in Saint Roman Street, in Pavão-Pavãozinho and Cantagalo community. Few people know that it is a great School of integral education for 400 children from 3 months to 17 years, who for more than 30 years has transformed the lives of super vulnerable families. And it is here, in Copacabana’s heart. We are good neighbors.
We have a theater, an art gallery, sports courts, science and computer labs and a huge library, after all, the children stay here 10 hours a day for 18 years, from babies. We stay in 5 charming houses, one next to the other on the slope, it is amazing.
In addition to this work, we distribute food, clothing and medicines to 100 families we visit regularly, in the most difficult places of the community, with a team of more than 150 active volunteers.
Are you out of breath? There are more than 100 employees, mostly teachers, and we serve 1.400 meals a day. All High School graduates have 50% to 100% scholarships guaranteed at universities, have regular English classes and we have already sent 29 children for cultural exchange in 6 countries! Today there are 6 in Poland and 2 in the USA.
And who gets this all by itself, without charging anything? We have many partners, because there is love in each of our steps, but we run the RISK OF CLOSING. The crisis hit us without warning.
We need support now! Let’s think cool ideas to help our work?
We’ll make a dinner, the SUSTAINABLE SOLAR, only for businessmen, of any size. Do you have business friends in your network? Help us, please. Pass this invitation to him, invite him, go with him, embrace him, bring him to know this marvel. Maybe you’re the savior of Solar! The objective is to promote Solar in its establishments, in a network, in some way to revert money to our work.
GLOBALLY THINK, LOCALLY ACTION.
See you there!
