Starting June 24, students Francielle Martins de Souza and Dandara Amaral, 2nd year of High School, will participate in the Brayce exchange Program in Connecticut, USA, with all expenses paid.

Dandara will participate for the first time. She, along with 299 other youths, will join the Hazen YMCA Camp Program in Chester. She will participate, for two weeks, in outdoor, seafront, sporting, creative arts and drama camper activities. Each camper creates their own schedule, according to the activities they want to participate.

The program recruits young students from communities with strong English language skills, contagious personality, good sense of humor, enthusiasm, sense of adventure, experience in working with children and involvement in social projects. There, these young people learn new skills like self-confidence, independence and leadership. They undergo extraordinary life-changing experiences, make new friendships in various parts of the world, and gain greater fluency in their English.

Francielle participates for the second time. She returns to the Leadership Program, where she will spend three weeks preparing to be a leader, participating in workshops on communication skills, problem solving, public speaking, program planning, leadership styles, and more. During this three weeks, at the same time, she will participate in Hazen YMCA Camp as program leader.

Both students will also spend a week at an American family home. Franciele returns to the family that has already received her to help the American sister who is involved with volunteer work. Dandara will be welcomed by a new family. Both will be staying in Connecticut.

This opportunity was only possible thanks to partners EduMais and Brayce Program, as well as the parents and guardians of the students and the students themselves.

Solar thank immensely for all that made it possible and congratulate the students Francielle and Dandara! We are very proud!
