Picture Workshop
On June 2, artists Aloysio Pavan, Ana Paula Albé, Julie Brasil and Patricia Wagner came to Solar to provide a picture workshop for 16 students.
The two-hour workshop was divided into two stages. In the first one, the artists presented themselves and did a little theoretical class on drawing, covering subjects like symmetry, proportion, perspective, among others.
Then, they took pictures of participating students in the mini-photo studio assembled by the artists. These photos will compose Solar Art Gallery next exhibition.
Finally, our students were divided into 3 groups. They, in pairs, spent 15 minutes silently looking at each other. After this period, each one had to reproduce his friend with a drawing, using paper and pencil. The drawings will also compose Solar Art Gallery next exhibition.
In addition to all the knowledge about drawing offered in this workshop, we also worked out our students perception about each other.
