SUMMARY
OJÚÀRE (innocent eyes) is a young man who, to bring back health and happiness to his mother OKANÌFÉ (heart of love), gets advice from the village seer and goes in search of the “leaf of life” at the highest point of the village’s oldest tree: the BAOBAB. During his trip he finds a few friends and many obstacles, always overcoming them through his intelligence and fine feelings. At the end of this intrepid journey, he doesn’t find exactly what he expects, but something far more precious, which completely changes the course of his life.
