Paulo Coelho and Christina Oiticica promote dinner and auction for Solar

On November 15, Paulo Coelho and Christina Oiticica Foundation held a gala dinner at the Jean-Pierre Slavic Museum in Mies, Switzerland, for Solar Meninos de Luz benefit .

The museum where dinner was held houses a 65 Slavic historical Italian cars collection, including 26 Ferraris in the original red color. In his garage, which occupies an area of ​​1400 square meters at 17 meters below the ground, it happened a show of 48 Ores Greek band and an auction of items like a single edition Chanel bag, five nights at  Copacabana Palace Hotel, an IWC watch with Diamonds and the art book Caminhos revividos (Revived paths), signed by Coelho couple.

Dinner idea came from Paula Sendas, Paulo and Christina after a financial crisis affect hard Solar. “With the crisis, everything became difficult in Brazil and some partners stopped supporting the institution, so we had the idea of ​​organizing this party in this unique place with our friend Paula Sendas van Vlissingen, also Brazilian”, says Christina.

All the money collected from dinner and auction will be donated to Solar and will help to pay for institution’s expenses.

Solar thanks immensely, not only for dinner initiative, but also for the 18-year partnership.
