Solar Meninos de Luz

Today, September 12th, Meninos de Luz Theater received the French short theatrical play ‘Coisas de Mulher’. Directed by Thibault Brasseur and performed by Hissa de Urkiola and Aline Allesiée, the short film was presented first hand to our students of 7th and 8th year of Elementary School II.

In the plot, two friends confide secrets of their daily life. Does Gabrielle’s husband betray her? Does Caroline’s husband betray her too? Or are your dramas the maid and the mother-in-law? They vent, comfort and have fun together.

The play is part of the Short Film Festival with Theater, which since 2013 holds weekly Integrated Video Workshop with Theater at Solar. Its debut will be at Copacabana Fort, on September 17th, at 6p.m.. Also will be staged on the 18th, at 11ª.m., at the Military Museum Conde de Linhares.

Started in Paris, the Festival is a contemporary version of 19th century Parisian salons. In its fourth season, Curta com Teatro Festival became officially French-Brazilian: half of the program is by French authors and filmmakers and half by Brazilian authors and filmmakers.
