This February, Solar Meninos de Luz began a partnership with the Clubinho de Ofertas (Offers Club) group shopping site, which focuses on the child market. The Clubinho de Ofertas has as its target audience children aged 0 to 12. The offer segmentation, signaled in pre-registration, is what differentiates the service. The site works similarly to offer group shopping sites. At first there will be an offer a day, but as the number of partners grows, more than one offer will be available daily. All offers will have discounts from 50% to 90%. There will be offers for amusement parks, plays, trips, toys, party venues, language courses, children’s clothing, movie tickets, snack bars, water theme parks, school supplies, gyms, CDs, DVDs etc.
The site is an initiative by married couple Grasiela Camargo, 32, and Eduardo Marques, 34, who live in Rio de Janeiro. They have a daughter, Julia, aged three and a half, and have been working in the web environment for over 10 years.
The Clubinho de Ofertas slogan “Fun for you and your kids” expresses the company’s concept: to be a means through which mothers and fathers can acquire products and services to have fun with their kids. The idea is not just to sell children’s products at a discount; it is to provide accessible outings for parents and children to enjoy their time together.
