Students take part in International Poster and Essay Competition
For the international poster and essay competition promoted by the Cachambi Lions Club, the pedagogic director and the teachers of Primary School I promoted the first phase, an internal competition, to select the contestants for the great dispute. The essay theme was Young People in Traffic and the poster theme was What I Understand about Peace in the World. The works made at Solar reached their high point on the afternoon of the 3rd of November, on the balcony of house 138.
In the essay competition, 4th-year student Henrique Gabriel Alencar came in 4th place; Vitória Eduarda Fidelis, from the 5th year, came in 3rd place; Vinicius Barreto, from the 5th year, came in second place; and 4th-year student Luna Amaro came in 1st place.
As for the poster competition, student Dandara do Amaral, from the 5th year, came in 4th place; 5th-year student Marianne Soares came in 3rd place; Brenda Souza, from the 5th year, came in 2nd; and 4th-year student Nicoly Costa came in 1st. Nicoly’s drawing was sent abroad to participate in the international competition and dispute a cash prize. All the students who participated will receive a certificate and a gift.
At the award ceremony, players who took part in the indoor soccer tournament also won awards and trophies. Student Felipe Santiago, from the 4th year, not only played on the winning team, he was also named striker of the competition!
The students were very happy and excited about having participated in the competitions. The winners were congratulated by all the primary school students, teachers, coordinators, supervisors and administrative staff.
